Amrita Himmatraopet, Arts and Entertainment Editor
Amrita joined the Tribune because she enjoys writing and wanted to write more about different topics that she is passionate about. This is Amrita’s fourth year of journalism, and she has previously been a copy editor and Arts & Entertainment editor. She likes to listen to Mitski, Kero Kero Bonito, and the Cocteau Twins, and her favorite movie is the Parent Trap. She loves to collect stuffed animals everywhere she goes, and is still thinking about the purple hippo she did not get in San Francisco in that one bookstore. If she could be anyone else on the Tribune, Amrita would be Shereen, because she is always so kind, caring, and dedicated to her writing and is also one of the funniest people she has met!
