Shruthi joined the Tribune because she wanted to write something different from what's typically written in English classes and to find a community on campus. She has been in the Tribune since freshman year. Previously, she was a Staff Writer and an Assistant Arts and Entertainment Editor. An interesting fact about her is that she can play 4 musical instruments. Her top 3 music artists are Green Day, blink-182, and Paramore. If she could be any other person in the Tribune, she would be Eva because of her hard work on the Tribune, how talented she is at writing, and her environmentalism. Her goal for journalism this year is to write many articles that shed light on important issues.
