Allan initially joined the Tribune to improve his writing and communication skills, and to learn more about news in the world around him. He decided to stay in journalism because it helps him stay in the know for current and relevant events, and because he found it to be an interesting outlet to share these ideas with others. Allan has two years of prior journalism experience, being a staff writer and copy editor in the past. In his free time, Allan likes to go hiking and explore the outdoors. If he could be any other person on the Tribune, Allan would be Aki because he is funny and chill.
