Riya joined the Tribune out of her passion for informing the community and voicing her opinions. Riya is now in journalism 3, and has been a staff writer for the Tribune. Her goal in journalism this year is to improve in multimedia. Her favorite animal is a sloth and her favorite artists are The Strokes, Halfnoise, and Tyler the Creator. Riya used to eat an unhealthy amount of chocorooms in journalism last year.
