About the Contributors
Visalakshi Arunachalam, Social Media Manager
Visala joined the Wildcat Tribune because her brother had suggested the class and she tried it out, having participated in Journalism since her freshmen year. This year, Visala’s goal is to post and promote once a day for at least two months straight on a social media platform. If she could be anyone in the Tribune, Visala would be Sanjana because she’s very cutesy and demure and is such a sweet person who she can bond with over makeup.
Ariya Shah, Sports Editor
Ariya stayed in journalism because she loved writing as well as the community within the class. In her free time, Ariya likes baking, playing tennis, watching movies, and going on frozen yogurt runs. An interesting fact about her is that she loves ducks and has a massive collection of rubber ducks. If Ariya could be any other person on the tribune, she would be Janvi because she has great leadership skills and is very creative.
Daniel Lee, Multimedia Manager
Daniel returned to the Tribune because he likes being a journalist, and being part of a class community. Daniel was in journalism 1 as a freshman, became a staff writer sophomore year, and stepped into the role of Multimedia Editor as a junior. This year he hopes to be a role model for the many new journalists in the Tribune this year. In his free time, Daniel likes to play volleyball, eat kimchi, and play D&D. A fun fact about him is that he loves eating ramen with an egg, green onions, and spam. If Daniel could be anybody in the Tribune, he would be Andy, because he’s just chill like that.
Anvita Som Singh, News Editor
The Tribune has been a major part of Anvita’s high school career. Starting in J1 her freshmen year, journalism has been a way for her to connect with her school and community and provide a voice for individuals. Being an editor has had its ups and downs, and her ability to help writers make groundbreaking stories and underline the importance of news makes it a unique experience. If she could be anyone on the Tribune, she would be Sura since she wants to know how Sura handles all her web tasks and learns all the software.
