About the Contributors
Nina Stadermann
Nina Stadermann, Staff Writer
Nina's interest in the Wildcat Tribune stems from a desire to work with other writers and interact with her community. This is her first year in Journalism. In Nina's free time, she writes poetry and plays piano. If she could be any other person on the Tribune, she'd be Benjamin, due to his predisposition towards happiness.
Benjamin Wang
Benjamin Wang, Staff Writer
Benjamin joined the Tribune because his sister took the class and he thought it seemed like a very interesting class with a close group of people. He took J1 last year and does creative writing outside of school. This year, Benjamin is looking forward to learning more about journalism and reading his published articles in the newspaper. He likes to play golf and is on track to play collegiately. If he could be anyone on the Tribune, he'd choose to be David Zhang because he will probably end up becoming a billionaire.
David Zhang
David Zhang, Staff Writer
David joined the Wildcat Tribune out of curiosity for the behind-the-scenes process of journalism publication. In J1 last year, David played around with various forms of journalism, and this year he hopes to gain more experience with conducting interviews. In his free time, David enjoys playing card games with his friends and running in the hills behind his home. Outside of school, he's an avid participant in college-run math tournaments. If David could be anyone else on the Tribune, he would aspire to become Benjamin because of his natural charisma and infectious enthusiasm.
William Zhao
William Zhao, Staff Writer
William joined because he appreciates journalism. Objectivity is a big part of his ideology and that’s hard to achieve without accurate news. He took J1 last year as a sophomore, and, over the summer, assumed an editor position at a local newspaper (The Earth Chronicles). He is also super interested in physics and placed very well (silver medal) in this years national physics olympiad (USAPhO). If William could be anyone on the Tribune, he would be David Zhang. He has an unbeatable work ethic and is incredibly disciplined.
Eugene Kwek
Eugene Kwek, Multimedia Manager
Eugene joined the Wildcat Tribune because he heard from his friends that it was fun. This year is his second year of journalism and his first writing for the Tribune. Eugene's journalism goal for this year is to write about technology, which he's really passionate about. In his free time, he likes to code interesting projects and explore the trails around San Ramon. An interesting fact about him is that he is a GeoGeussr addict. If Eugene could be any other person on the Tribune, he would be Leo because he is funny and cool.
