Miguel has always been interested in writing and similarly, in reporting and the Wildcat Tribune is a medium by which he can exercise both activities in a practical and engaging way. Back in middle school, he was a part of the video production crew which, every week, created short video segments on events that were occurring around the school. He is bilingual and soon to be trilingual, speaking both Spanish and English and now learning Chinese. Also, he has been running since the fourth grade and can run a mile in four minutes and twenty-five seconds.
