About

The Wildcat Tribune is the official student newspaper of Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, California. After a brief run in the 2008-09 school year, it was reinstated in 2011 and has released regular issues since.

In 2013, past adviser Ms. Rachel Decker began leading the publication as a student club. In 2015, the newspaper class was founded. As of the 2024-2025 school year, over 80 journalists report for the Tribune, advised by Mr. Mitch Bathke.

The Tribune features sections on news, opinions, arts and entertainment, and sports. Currently, it releases a print issue every quarter and publishes on its website on a daily basis.
