About the Contributors

Sharanya Roy, Assistant Web Manager
Sharanya wanted to join the Tribune because it’s a wonderful way to share your opinion, which she loves doing (usually unproductively). She started doing the Journey program in 8th grade which kickstarted her love for journalism as a whole. Sharanya’s goal for this year is to write thought-provoking articles, as well as some light articles to brighten up people’s days. In her free time, she likes listening to music like PartyNextDoor, Travis Scott, Ken Carson, SZA, and a lot of R&B. If Sharanya could be anyone on the Tribune, she would be Mahika, because she aspires to yap productively like her.

Zoe Alcause, Photography Editor
In 7th grade, Zoe watched an obscure Russian superhero film and fell in love with the journalist character, leading her to make the brash decision of signing up for 8th grade journalism. She’s been stuck ever since. She’s spent 1 year in J1 and 1 year in her middle school journalism class. Zoe’s favorite things to do in her free time are listening to music, talking to her friends, and walking when she doesn’t need to study cram. Zoe would be Shareen, whom she describes to be funny, light-hearted, and a great partner-in-crime.
