“We allow for the creation of libraries and we’re giving books to people who don’t have access to them”

Sankalpa Bhuma: “My club is called DVHS Literary Alliance … Before I started the club and the inspiration for it was last year when I found an organization called the African Library Project. I don’t know if you saw the CSF drive last year, but that was me and my friends Sanjana Senthil and Shreya Ravikumar, and we had to collect 1000 books and 500 dollars to ship to a library in Ghana, and it was absolutely incredible how many people donated books and we had over 1000 books, but we were able to get so many books to people that definitely needed it because it was an underserved community in Ghana.”
