“Art Encouraged is an organization I started dedicated to providing an arts education in schools in underprivileged areas across California.  We basically hold events such as summer camps with painting, sketching, and Bollywood dance classes, for local elementary schoolers and give our profits to those underprivileged schools. I started it a couple years ago, wanting to play a larger role, and do something good in my community. I started seeing my peers who were interested in the arts and had the same goal as me, so I decided to create Art Encouraged. I wanted to create a platform for students to express creativity and foster their passion for art. I want them to be able to reach their full potential and learn about what they like in an energetic and positive environment.”
