Dylan Le: I started making music because I wanted to express my love for music in a new way, apart from live performances. I played my first instrument in 5th grade, which was the flute for school band. At this point, it was just expected of me from my parents to delve into music, but I wasn’t too excited about what I was doing. It was the reason I stopped after only two years. My passion for music grew not because I played an instrument but more on how much I started listening to it. My taste and experience in all sorts of genres led me to my main instrument, the drum kit. Not too long after, the bass guitar which I play both to this day. After four years of developing musical experience and skills, I wanted to give back and decided to write and produce music. It takes me back to four years ago when I first dipped my toes into new music, enveloping myself in the individual elements and aspects that made every second amazing. I wanted to make it myself. It was what I loved, proving to myself what I enjoyed so much could be my own. Like anyone else can and everyone already does, just doing what you love because it means so much when you listen back on it.
