DVHS’s annual Area Band Festival shines light on flute-players from three different grade levels
On March 10, the DVHS Area Band Festival took place in the quad from 5 to 7 p.m, treating friends, family and teachers to an array of pieces while showing off what’s been cooking in the district’s music pot. The lively event featured Dougherty’s two wind ensembles, the combined Gale Ranch Middle School and Windemere Ranch Middle School eighth grade bands and the Bella Vista Elementary School, Hidden Hills Elementary School and Live Oak Elementary School fifth grade bands.
