“Swimming navigated me through the ups and low[s] of my life.”
Zoe Ma: “I swim to take my mind off of whatever else is happening in my life. I also swim because I enjoy being in the pool, and I like how much swimming pushes you.
I like that swimming creates an environment that is competitive between teammates, but still very supportive of one another. I like that, no matter what has happened that day, I forget about it when I hop in the pool. there isn’t a better feeling than being in the pool.
Swimming is important to me because it is where I met some of my closest friends. It not only pushes me to improve my stroke technique, but also pushes me to improve myself.”
