“Art has always been my outlet.”

Thanvi Anand: “I’m really passionate about art. The fact that I can convey my emotions and perspective through different media is really exciting. Other people can then look at my artwork, and reflect their perspective and experiences creating new meaning to the piece. Art has always been my outlet, and especially during these uncertain times, art has been something that I can express myself with. I want to pursue engineering as my future career. I really enjoy the collaboration between design and math in engineering, and applying them to real-world problems. I really love exploring the new innovations and advancements taking place in the engineering field today, and how that can impact the world in the future. During the pandemic, I have found more time to spend with my family, for example going on hikes and exploring.”
