Christmas is a joyful, lively time of the year because love and happiness is spread all around. It is a wonderful holiday to spend with your friends and family members where you can watch classic holiday films. Here are a few films you can watch with your loved ones this holiday season:

1. Elf is a hilarious Christmas movie starring Will Ferrell about a human boy named Buddy, who has been raised as an elf living in the North Pole for most of his life. Once he learns that he is actually a human, he asks Santa about his real family. After learning that he had a biological father, Buddy then travels to New York to meet him. While in New York, he builds a relationship with his father and his father’s new family, and is able to spread Christmas spirit all throughout New York. Elf is a cute Christmas film the whole family would enjoy.
2. Frosty the Snowman is an animated TV show about a group of schoolkids who, by accident, bring a snowman to life. After building Frosty, they place a magician’s hat on the snowman’s head, unaware that the hat was actually magic and would bring him to life. The magician, Hocus, takes his hat back, which causes Frosty to become inanimate once again. After leaving, Hocus returns to give the kids his hat.
3. Home Alone is a classic Christmas movie about a young boy named Kevin McCallister who is accidentally left home alone while his family goes on vacation. Not that Kevin minds being alone, he is soon faced with the challenge of trying to fight off two simple-minded intruders. Kevin is able to successfully fight off the intruders and remains safe until his family arrives back home.
4. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a tale your whole family will enjoy, about a bitter Grinch who wants to ruin Christmas for all the Whos who live in Whoville. On the night before Christmas, he dresses up as Santa Clause and sneaks down the chimney of every Whos’ house. Instead of leaving presents, he takes them, along with all of the Christmas decorations and the Christmas meals. The next day, he watches over Whoville expecting everyone to be sad. But what he finds shocks him- all the Whos come together and sing joyfully. The Grinch realizes that Christmas is not about materialistic items, it’s about spending it with those that you love. The Grinch’s heart grows three times its original size, and he returns all of the gifts, decorations and food. That Christmas all the Whos have the Christmas feast with the Grinch in his cave.
